Lantern Production Process

Every custom lantern display starts from a design concept and becomes a finished illuminated product through careful production steps. At ParkLightShow, we manage the full production process in our own workshop, including design, lofting, welding, lighting, covering, painting, testing, and final inspection.

This process helps us control quality, structure strength, lighting effect, and project delivery for park light shows, lantern festivals, scenic area light shows, zoos, farms, resorts, and outdoor night tourism projects.

From Design to Finished Product

Below is a simple view of how a custom lantern display is produced in our workshop.

1. Design

The project begins with a design concept based on the theme, venue size, visitor route, and lighting effect required by the client. The design helps confirm the shape, size, color, structure, and visual direction before production starts.

2. Lofting

After the design is confirmed, our team creates full-size layout drawings and structure references. This step helps workers understand the real size and shape of the lantern display before welding and assembly.

3. Welding

The metal frame is welded according to the design and lofting details. A strong structure is important for outdoor use, transportation, installation, and long-term display stability.

4. Lighting Installation

LED lights are arranged and fixed on the frame to create the required lighting effect. We consider brightness, color, power connection, and the final visual appearance of the display.

5. Covering

The frame is covered with suitable fabric or surface material according to the design. This step gives the lantern its main shape and helps prepare the surface for coloring and final decoration.

6. Painting

The lantern surface is painted and detailed by skilled workers. Colors, gradients, and decorative effects help bring the character, animal, flower, or themed display to life.

7. Testing

Before delivery, the lantern display is checked and tested in our workshop. We review the lighting effect, structure, appearance, and basic connection details to reduce problems during installation.

8. Finished Product

After production and testing are completed, the finished lantern display is prepared for packaging and shipment. For overseas projects, we can also consider detachable structures and packaging methods to support easier transportation and installation.
